  • Zero-Day Contest!

Submit exploits with zero-day vulns to this form to be entered into the contest.

You can submit your exploit anytime before and at DEF CON, but the zero-day vulns must remain non public until DEF CON.

    We encourage you to BYOT!

The Zero-Day track is focused on the discovery and demonstration of real exploits (i.e., 0-day vulnerabilities). This track relies on the judging of newly discovered, real attacks against networked embedded electronic devices.

This is an opportunity for contestants to bring in their own embedded electronic devices and demonstrate exploits to our panel. Contestants will need to provide proof that they disclosed the vulnerability to the vendor.

This list contains the devices we will have at DEF CON for you to play with, but remember you can submit zero-days found in any IoT device of your choosing.
