DEF CON Movie Night 5-22 'Monsters'

Tonight's movie is called 'Monsters' (2010). It's the directorial debut of Gareth Edwards, who has since graduated to directing giant Star Wars films and whatnot. 'Monsters', however, is a triumph of low-budget film-making that you have to see to believe. The budget wouldn't have covered catering on 'Rogue One', and Edwards was director, DP, visual effects team and production designer. Still, the sum greatly outperforms its parts.
