This year BTV will be celebrating five years at DEF CON!!! Join us Friday night 20:00 - 23:00 at the LINQ pool. Libations will be available at the cash bar. Free tacos, sliders, and other goodies.

Dual Core will be performing at 21:00!

For me (using Safari) Clicking on both links I’m receiving Error 404?

I do not see "%5B/url%5D" at the end of these URL being included in the links in the posts provided. The one to the node on the defcon forums should end with /239819 and the one with blue team village should just end with a "/" after the hostname.

You may have a proxy that is adding content to URL, or maybe your browser has a plugin altering links?

I've tried visiting this page with Safari on an iPhone, Mac OS X, Chromium, MS Edge, Firefox and more, but I do not see the URL you pasted as being part of the links I provided.

I'm going to bet that you clicked a link from an email message, and the email message included text after the URL, and your email service assumed the content at the end was part of the URL, and made that link in the email message you tried to visit include those extra characters. From the forum post, visiting the forums with a web browser, and looking at my reply above, I do not see those characters in the links provided using a browser to see this reply on the forums.

Thankfully, I do not click on links in emails unless from a trusted and verified source. I am currently on my desktop pc and the links indeed work fine. Yesterday, I was using my iPhone and the DEF CON app; when I tapped on the BBCode links they opened in my iPhone (default) Safari browser resulting in the 404 errors. It's quite apparent that there is a glitch taking place within my iPhone with the app, BBCode links in the forum post, and Safari. I have attached screen shots so you hopefully don't think I'm nuts! For now, I'll not trust my iPhone DEF CON app and links.
