As stated, Linq & Harrah's are close, as is Flamingo. The walk from some place like Caeser's Palace, Paris, or the Venetian is ~10min. There's also this:

Since this question came up so frequently as DC30 grew closer, I worked out the distances and it was pinned in discord:
for reference:
harrahs and linq are attached to the forum via an air conditioned sky bridge
harrahs valley tower to the forum is ~1875 feet
harrahs mountain tower to the forum is ~2100 feet
linq district 3 elevators to the forum is ~1750 feet
linq district 2 elevators to the forum is ~2150 feet
flamingo's main elevator bank next to the lobby to linq district 2 elevators is ~1200 feet (under 30 seconds outside)
caesars forum tower to linq district 2 elevators is ~1450 feet
flamingo's main elevator bank next to the lobby to the forum is ~3300 feet via linq promenade, crossing over linq lane under the high roller, and into the forum
flamingo's main elevator bank next to the lobby to the forum is ~3300 feet via linq promenade, crossing linq lane, and using the doors below the skybridge
flamingo's main elevator bank next to the lobby to the forum is ~3250 feet outside past the valet, walking along linq lane, and using the doors below the skybridge
ballys resort tower to the forum is ~3050 feet outside (food court, across flamingo, along linq lane)
ballys jubilee tower is ~1800 feet from flamingo's main elevator bank next to the lobby (via las vegas blvd sidewalk)
paris is ~2275 feet from flamingo's main elevator bank next to the lobby (via las vegas blvd sidewalk)
planet hollywood is ~2650 feet from flamingo's main elevator bank next to the lobby (via las vegas blvd sidewalk)
note: point used for reference as "the forum" is the location of the scavenger hunt table, which was right in the center of the forum for dc30

I had no issues at all at the Linq. My only complaint (about the room, that is) was a shower instead of a tub, but for less than a week I can put up with it.
Drink prices at the bars at Linq were obscenely high! :(
The Linq has taken out just about all of the machines they had which I like, so I played most of the time over at Casino Royale.
