- Network card
- Wi-fi card
- Antennas for wi-fi card
- Wireless AP
- Power strip
- Various networking cables
- Sharpies
- Paper (post-its?)
- Sunblock with as high an SPF as possible
- Camera
- Portable food such as dehydrated cranberries and granola bars
- WATER!!!!!
- Caffeinated mints
- Ginseng
- Those neat Listerine strip thingies
- Microwave, possibly
- USB pen-drive with all my l33t hax0ring toolz ^_^
- Floppy disks, including Tom's Root Boot for emergencies
- Crucial cds - music, OS, patches, backup
- duct tape
- Contact info cards to give to people

- Mirror (so useful for those over-the-shoulder password grabs...)

I'm thinking about bringing my guitar to the con if anyone else will be around to jam with. Am not that great of a player, but is anyone interested?

Man..so much gear..I'm gonna bring the same load-out as last year.

2 t-shirts (I end up comming home with a dozen, why bring any more than what I need to last till DC starts)

Sun Screen (I have scars on my shoulders from PoolCon last year)

Boots for the shoot
1 set of BDUs for the shoot
Tac-vest, once again, for the shoot
Yaeseu FT-50 + spare battery + charger
Portable humidor + cutter
'toys' for the shoot
shower bag (toothbrush, meds, etc)

Things I wont be bringing to the con

Water. (dont know you guys keep listing this..they have water in Vegas now, comes in both hot and cold varieties)

Booze. (why bring sand to the beach)

Laptop/PDA/Expensive toys. (I wont use them)

I don't get that either. I generally don't drink tap water in unfamiliar places, but really, it's no big deal to go buy a few bottles of water and gatorade. Why waste travel space?

It's not really the water I care about, it's the bottle. They do have water in Vegas now, but it's anchored to these large porcelain things, and I've found that just ripping the conrols off of it and bringing those around with you doesn't work so well.

EDIT: Sure, I could buy a water bottle once I'm there, but nothing can beat my Nalgene bottle. :)

Vegas water tastes like ass. I will not be bringing my own water, except for what's in a bottle. then I may buy a larger bottle to refill it. A friend last year in fact did pack a dozen or so water bottles, because Vegas water is just that objectionable to his tastes. I dealt with it by putting my water in the freezer and drinking it only cold.
