Oh yeah..and don't forget to have your laptop/pda/cellphone/radio/scanner with you because they'll come in handy for volunteering.

They ask ID when you come from Blackhat to get your free entrance... To verify if your really who you think you are...

This year we will also be requesting a blood sample for DNA fingerprinting. Due to a lack of supplies this will be collected using a pencil and a dixie cup. Please bring your own band-aids and towels.

Okay I'll drop by and check it out. Of course, my idea of a good time involves... well... examining... yeah, that's it... various networks and systems. Who knows. I might rent a car and drive around or whatever.....

Of course, for DefCon 12, I'll make sure I'm available early!

Here's a question for everyone... Where does one go to sign up to help do things like set up the network, prep for the con etc? I'm arriving one day early, so I've got the time...
Thanks for the offer. Actually we have a full staff of people that handle everything from building up the NOC, to deploying the nework, working registration, and providing security. Most of the time to avoid being caught short on people we make sure we have a full staff long before any of us touch down in Vegas. So, there probably isnt a lot at this stage we need help with. However, as they say, shit happens. Feel free to stop by and see if anyone needs help with anything, but for the most part, take that extra day to enjoy Vegas.
