File deletion

I am looking for a program that can completly delete files rather than just mark them deleted. I have searched google and found a few but was wondering if any of you had some suggestions.

i usee an interesting program....Secure privacy. its an encryption program with a cool secure delete program. instead of repettive wipes and writes, it encrypts the file with a random encryption key then does a standard delete. thus rendering the file screwed.
