As far as Ra and Rain, both are expensive and over rated, if you want fresh and new, this is not the spot. If you want 33 year old local's and dito for the out-of-towner that's where you want to be. Ibiza has the fresh mixes (@ lv blvd and Harmon walking distance from AP). on Sunday night, for you stragglers (choke or left behind, bad speller), hit up Imperial Palace. It's about 5-10min from AP, there after hours includes deep house, and trace mixes. Goto http://www.lasvegasweekly.com for more goodies on alt local stuff, if your not into fluffy "vega'sized" entertainment.

Although I have not been to this event it sounds promising

No, although some of their girls only see clients by appointment. It IS, however, overpriced and overrated, as they've gotten slammed with people since that HBO special, and have adjusted their rates accordingly.

I have a list of free attractions, all the little shows the casino's offer to draw people in.. with times if anyones intrested.

If anyones found something off the beaten path, that looks like fun, post it.. Im gonna be staying a week in vegas..

Things to do in vegas with your downtime

It seems that there are people that want to go "explore" , hopefully after speeches (what a waste of $75).

If you are looking for any PC Bangs (Internet Cafe's) my suggestion is PC Intercrew or CyberZone. They are both on Maryland Parkway bettween Flamingo and Tropicana, about 5min cab drive from AP. Best of all they are both smoker friendly, you cali ppl may not be use to this, but the Europeans will certinly be happy. My personal fav is CyberZone, in the promade strip mall accross from UNLV.

Ohh, btw they are both 24 hour

You can't trust anyone from Utah... especially ones from Salt Lake City.... All they want to do is convert you to the black tie religion.

I'm going to have to call shenanigans. Its people like you that give Las Vegas its reputation as some kind of city where one can find sin and vice.
Welp - I'm off to read the bible for a while, then I'll get back to working on my gambling, booze and prostitute budget. ;)
