Yeah, I saw it....and I don't think it could have sucked any more than it did. I am totally disappointed.

I liked it, but it could have been much better. I think the Wachowski brothers were never really on board for 3 movies, but were pressured by the studio. As for a 4th, the end really did play it that way.

We even had fireworks in Vegas. I think it was a marriage though, but a nice coincidence.

Yes, they totally left it open for a fourth and that is very frustrating, considering the tag line for the movie was "Every beginning must have an ending."

A trilogy is THREE PARTS! They are going to milk this for all it's worth. Next thing you know there will be Matrix 7: Freddy vs. Neo

More than that, several questions were raised in Reloaded that were not satisfactorily answered in this one. It totally ripped off other sci-fi films/books (has anyone ever read Children of Dune? seen Aliens? seen Star Wars?).

Morpheus had about a total of 6 lines.

The Trainman was pointless.

Agent Smith apparently caught his own virus because more than an evil genius, he just seemed insane and confused at the end.

WAAAAY to much Zion. It was The Matrix Revolutions, not Zion Revolutions.

The MechWarrior scenes were stupid.

The messianic power of Neo as "The One" outside of the matrix is not satisfactorily explained.

I know that the actress that played the Oracle in the first two died, but the way they explained the change was silly.

Why in the name of holy fuck didn't Neo use the EMP on Niobe's ship in the machine city?


I have more, but will hold onto them for now, other than to say this is the most disappointed I have ever been in a movie.

I kinda liked it. I mean, compared to the rest of the trash Hollywood puts out, it was at least thought provoking. I hadn't even considered the possibility of a 4th movie, but that's probably because I'm the type of person that the current ending would appeal to.

I don't think we will be seeing a Matrix 4, at the very best we may get lucky to get Animatrix 2. Lots of questions where answered, many left up in the air. I personally enjoyed it, a lot more than 2, but not quite as much as the first. As gathering my thoughts, id like to hear specifics on why you didn't or did like it.

I am sure that my expectations fed into why I disliked this movie so much. I do know that I am not alone in my feelings. The theater I saw the movie in was packed...when the movie was over and people were filing out, there was initially what I would describe as stunned silence, followed by a lot of overheard snippets of "What the fuck was that shit?"

How the fuck did Seraph survive his encounter with the Smiths (Agents, not Morrissey and Marr)?

Why did Smith bleed in his fight with Neo?

If there isn't going to be a fourth, why the little girl's question, and more importatnly the Oracle's answer at the end?

How did the Oracle get back to being the Oracle?

If Sentinels are so fucking great, how come all you have to do is get 30 meters above them and you can get behind them all of a sudden and they are totally fooled?

Why was Trinity so stunned by the blue sky? She has been in the matrix, she's seen blue sky before.

I have only yet begun to bitch about this movie...I have more for later.

This movie is just so predictable, I mean sure the concepts for why it is going down is kinda differant, it is the recycled good vs evil. The first movie offtered up alot of interesting concepts, which IMO isnt in films 2 and 3, they are more about a war between the good and evil war. As mentioned above the train man thing, as well as the "Merv" scene, are both a pointless show of cool effects, I had figured the Merv, woulda had everything planned out and figured what would go on. The oracles change is kinda not thought out, I know she died, couldnt they have just show like a presense of who she was, and that only neo could have seen her or something. Now, as for the ending, I was disappointed, sure the fight scene was neato, but it was just drug out longer then need be. Then as for the final scenes, well, Yippe fucking do, Neo saved the day again, and A bright happy eneding, but what happened to Neo, I believe the words where "We might see him again one day" I think said movie company wants toot see another one of these cash cows....unless they call it, "Matrix-Q and A" I dont know if would wanna see it, the whole seris went from making you think to a pointless war.

Yep. If they do a fourth, I will not pay to see it at the theater. I'll RENT it when it comes out on DVD, then decide if it is worth buying..in fact, I'd probably just borrow it from a friend so I didn't have to shell out one cent.

I was quite content at the end of number 1, I coulda just gone on and thought neo started whipping ass.

Honestly, when I left the theatre, I was ominously happy with the ending. The only reason being that I was suffering from core-fan-syndrome. I come here and read your thoughts, and I start thinking about it.

Aside from all the other questions which are unanswered, there is one which really threw me; when Agent Smith referred to the oracle as his mother. All this crap just leads to another movie, or time-strapped Wachowski Brothers. Im not sure which, and probably wont know for a few years.

All in all, I was basically happy with the movie, but pissed off about the ever-unanswered questions. I went to see the end, and didnt get it.

I was also quite disappointed. It definitely seems like 2 and 3 were an afterthought. While they lent themselves to each others' plot development, they really did nothing to expand on 1.

Someone mentioned before that there was going to be an online game that takes place in the Matrix after Revolutions, so I kept that in mind, and didn't expect the Matrix to be destroyed or all the loose ends to be tied up. Beyond that, though, there was too much left hanging, too little explained, and too many pointless special effects. Basically, the same problems I had with 2.

And how is it that not a single sentinel attacked while Neo and Trinity were sharing the touching last hour and a half of her life (really... when you're impaled with that much shit, shouldn't you die faster??!!)? When he walks out, he's immediately surrounded by the little fuckers, but they leave them alone while she's dying? Yeeeaaaahhhhhh...
