I will get to go see LOTR with my company on the 11th at the Metreon. Benefits of having a corporate logo stamped on my head.

started a topic Return of the King

    Return of the King

How many Lord of the Rings geeks are out there?

I know I am, went to both of the last midnight showings...found something that made me a little quezy about the 3rd movie...

for those of you that know the tale, in the 2nd movie we see Saruman losing power and trapped in his tower. I just found this bit of news....http://www.theonering.net/staticnews/1068655898.html

Saruman death was not in the Two Towers movie, so apperently we get no resolution about what happened to him. Also we don't see the last of what wormtonge does, when he finally lashes back at Saruman for destroying his life, becuase all of Mr. Lee's parts in the movie have been cut out for some reason.

The new pattern of 3rd movie fuck ups (revolutions) is worrying me, so far the LOTRs movies havnt let me down, so they better not start now.
Working...
