If you are asking if you can link a site that offers illegal downloads of copyrighted material in a public forum that is visited by different law enforcement and other governmental agencies, then the answer is no.

Your other post has been moved out of harm's way, and I suggest you not do this again.

    here's the insecure magazine
    http://www.insecuremag.com/

can i give a link to a site that links to an upload site - Rapidshare? most of the links are legal, but afew are not e.g. the Dummies books. they have some OK network books.

You've got to give him points for being clever. Not entirely original, but clever. Does anyone have any idea what #1465 is supposed to be in this character set? (I tried searching, but my Hebrew is not what it should be.) In any case, that character is freakin' small ... I can't even see it when placed next to the 'd' like that.

ISC is having an interesting disscussion on what books to read this summer while hanging out by the pool (not pool2 though). This is a nice fresh list of InfoSec books to get you back in full swing if you need a refesher.

    Not free

Not free, but most college/universities should have standing online memberships to the following:

    http://safari.oreilly.com
    http://library.books24x7.com

The second one has the larger collection of security related books (most of the syngress ones for a start.) This isn't PDF though. However, search engine on books full text is a very useful thing ;-). At work (McGill U., Montreal) we have access from any university IP addresses, but few people seem to be aware the resources are even available.

Any person(s) with valid university IPs or means to get one might be interested in checking them out.
