it's a huge charge. ridiculous, but, i guess people are demanding it that much.

The monorail is designed specifically to cater to the lazy tourist who is too cheap to get a taxicab. Since it doesn't go anywhere near where I live, I've never paid attention to it. *shrug*

The last time I checked, they were planning on setting the price at $3 per ride, which seems like a straight up rip off to me.

the monorail is a rip off. you may as well buy a monthly pass from the vegas transit authority for the same price as a 3 day pass.

Anyway, anyway, guys guys guys, come on. I'm
in this computer, right. So I'm looking
around, looking around, you know, throwing
commands at it, I don't know where it is or
what it does or anything. It's like, it's
like choice, it's just beautiful, okay. Like
four hours I'm just messing around in there.
Finally I figure out, that it's a monorail.
Right, okay wait, okay, so it's a monorail. So, this
morning, I look in the paper, some monorail in Las
Vegas, Nevada starts running at speeds of over 90
MPH for about thirty minutes before it stops.

    CEREAL
    That's kinda cool.

    JOEY
That was me. That was me. I did that.

    DADE
You did this from your house.

    PHREAK
What are you, stoned or stupid? You don't
hack a monorail across state lines from your
house, you'll get nailed by the FBI. Where
are your brains, in your ass? Don't you know
    anything?

[btw... I hate that bloody movie.]

I do believe so, and if not... there's enough to suggest that it very well may happen due to the previous posts - that's why I'm staying as far away from the damn thing during the con as I can, with plenty of witnesses.

This country is becoming so liberal that if you get run over by a monorail residing 30 feet in the air, your family can sue for millions, it is all the monorail's fault, oh and the fault of SUV owners too of course.
