I don't think anyone would actually care if he attended. As long as he didn't get in the way of other peoples lives and their enjoyment at DC he wouldn't even be a blip on most peoples radar screens.

They've got a good resource and let it goto bad use. I too have checked up on thebroken's showings. The last show was the last for me. I thought it might get better but the suggestions I made were not looked apon. I suggested that maybe finding people who know what they're talking about would help. But I guess real stuff like that doesn't matter. Should base it like how many con's are based about (Defcon, Hope, ect) with speakers. Now I just think that the people who run it, just want clueless people to worship them. But that's just me. It has inspired me to do something useful with my resources and I will soon have some good real discussions on video for people to take intrest in.

Meh. Thebroken is cheap humour. The Windows password extraction segment was rather stupid, Ill agree that its a bit far fetched for the "hacker" to break in to use your computer to load Linux and steal your passwords. Oooh! Sneaky!

The interview was interesting, and the introduction of graphics was a small improvement. The first episode with the "How to Social Engineer your way to a free Pizza" was... sad. What I found more shocking though are the people on the thebroken forums that spent 17 hours downloading ep3 when I just logged on this morning and received it in 15 minutes. Im kind of wishing I hadnt bothered.

What can I say though? Just let them have their fun.

And concerning Ramzi...the "hacker tip of the day" bit is irritating. "I will teach you how to download War..ez. I will search for Bonzi Buddy. (not really searching)" I agree with Grifter, I wouldnt say that they are making fun of Ramzi, just messing around and giving him a bit on their show. The only thing that maybe could be considered offensive is the subtitles, which in a way is bringing more attention to his broken english.

Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I'm pretty sure he and the rest of them are really friends.

Ok, let me rephrase, when's that last time you saw someone get called a racist by someone who wasn't white for making fun of white people? I don't think it's racist, I just think it's stupid that whenever someone says anything involving race--good or bad--it's turned into racism. The meaning of racism has changed because of people making a big deal out of every little thing, I think.
