It's not the government we need to fear in taking over-Always side with the ones who will win in the end---ROACHES! :D

I admit it... I'm a hotel snob. I firmly believe that the cleaning staff is responsible for cleaning the needles out of the pool. Also, if I wanted to room with insectoid vermin, I'd share a room with my fellow con-goers. I don't need complimentary roaches with my suite.

I think so, I recall the Plaza. 98, is that right?
    Pre - AP
    Now that was funny.

Any one recall breaking into that pool in the near dawn?

I find extreme enjoyment in the after hours activities at the AP, well after the conferences are over. If you have a room at the hotel you get to stay as long as you want. If there is an incident and you are not registered at the hotel, the AP goons may close the pool or event and shoo away the non-registered folks.

Is this the longest that Defcon has been at one hotel?

Rooms are cheap, happy hour is 24/7, there is a cheap little diner, liquor store, nice pool and jacuzzi.
I stayed there last month, and found it very adequate!
and a wet bar in every room, to boot!

If you do not wanna spend the $ for the AP
