Web Systems Support Administrator
Position Announcement
Otis is currently accepting applications for the Web Systems Support Administrator position. This individual is responsible for the maintenance of the College’s Internet and intranet sites and assists the Director of Information Systems in providing service to the overall College community with these and other end-user applications. He / she applies general knowledge of programming techniques for the colleges computer Internet portal and email systems, edits, tests and maintains, documents and controls content, look, and flow of websites. Primary responsibilities include administration of all internal email systems, design of screen display to accomplish goals of site, keeps current with technical requirements to meet site requirements, writes documentation for internal usage and assists in solving operating problems with the site.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have three (3) to five (5) years experience in the creation and editing of HTML code, proficiency in MS-Exchange administration, Java & XML, good understanding of Microsoft Applications and their usage; experience in portal administration (u-Portal) a plus, proficient in WS-FTP, Dreamweaver, and content management system (CMS).
Student management systems experience is preferred and SCT Banner experience is preferred. Candidates must have good interpersonal skills, the ability to interface effectively with all constituents.
