    Ozzfest?

I'm probably gonna get flamed for this because I didn't search enough on it but here it goes anyway. Is anyone from Los Angeles having event conflicts with DefCon and Ozzfest. This year Ozzfest is on the 31st of July right smak down the middle of DefCon. In case anyone is interested, I'm planning a trip to the San Francisco Show on the 29th and then head down from Frisco to Vegas non stop and hopefuly I will make it to Vegas just in time for registration time. If anyone from L.A. wants to try this little trip with me and a few other people let me know at 4thHorseman@gothmail.net

Bring me a Slayer shirt (Size=XL) and I won't move this to /dev/null/
    perl -e 'print pack(c5, (41*2), sqrt(7056), (unpack(c,H)-2), oct(115), 10)'

christ I feel old, I haven't been to an Ozzy concert in 20 years and that was with Rush - one of those "Monsters of Metal" tours in the '80s

well, I think I will be making the trip to Ozzfest San Francisco after all so I'll be driving all night long to Vegas. I'll be really freaking tired but I should be able to make it just in time for registration time. Still, if anyone who lives in Los Angeles wants to do this with me, let me know a few days July 29th.

You knew I was going to the one in Virginia... you should have given me a call...

Anyone who has a tour scheduled in their area, I highly suggest you go. It was a great lineup this year. Among the highights included Devildriver, Otep, Hatebreed, Slipknot, Slayer, Judas Priest, and of course Black Sabbath.
You're either on my side or else you're in the way.

i did see that dimmu borgir is playing at the huntridge on the 30th at 7pm. i might have to swing by there. i caught the Haunted there last year with Messhuga.

i saw that deicide was to be playing there soon as well. not a huge fan, but i own glen benton's old BC rich bass. serial # ('95-666). it was a steal at the time.

              and yes SLAYER rules

With Rob Halford back, I am very tempted to go to Ozzfest just because it may be one of the last chances to see Judas Priest the way they should be.
                The dude abides.
