  • Linux vs Windows?

Ok, I got a few questions.

I wanna try Linux out and get a feel for it. I've heard its more secure than windows and I wanna try something new.

Any version of linux recommened? Im not running a server or anything just personal use internet, games so on.

And Is it possible to have two OS's on 1 hard drive? if so how?

Or, should I just scrap the whole idea and stick with windows, keep in mind I have zero Linux experience.
    w00t!

(Respect to Chris, Grifter, and Bascule: a short reply test)

Linux vs. WIndows? Why not do both? Use BSD too. "OS Wars" are subjects of division. Do not troll here.
All your questions are best answered by your local Linux user Group. (LUG.) They often have InstallFests too.

Try Several. Use what you like. RedHat, Debian, SuSE, Gentoo, etc.

Yes. Use google. Check out "boot loader" and "LILO" or "grub".

This is a useless question for this forum. Only you can answer this.

Your question has been asked, and answered, numerous times on the forum. Next time, try and use the "Search" feature at the top of the page.
