Pictures Needed..

For those who have read the "Hard Luck" thread, you know God have me a thump on the nutsack by making my camera vanish into thin air after sushicon. I do not think it was swiped, I figure I fucked up and left it somewhere and it became a souvenir. Honestly, I could give a fuck about the camera, it was a piece of shit. The pictures on it however really hurt to lose, there were some that can't be replaced (such as Converge and Mfreeck at sushicon).

My favor to ask is this: Will anyone be kind enough to hook me up with a tarball or a zip of some of their pics? (At least the ones you do not mind sharing?) I do not have the time or energy to visit every site out there and grab what I want, and I do not want to be rude and wget a site, thus killing someones bandwidth by getting everything on the site. I especially would like pics of Quirks, the Toxic BBQ, Post-Octalcon, and Sushicon. Most of the folks that know me have already agreed to hook me up, but anyone else that know me and wants to help out will be much appreciated.

Astcell has about 2000+ pics... but you are going to need whole bunch of DVDs to get them.

this is essentially what www.defconpics.org is, just upload all of your photos to a server and throw up a gallery... and that way you can see everyone elses photos taken when you missed the opportunity, as well as share all of the ones you got. I'll probably have mine up by the end of the week.

Unfortunately, a whole lot of everything and anything gets linked from defconpics.org. I started surfing through, just like last year and stopped after the 3rd "should be labeled with a disclaimer/warning regarding adult content and pornography". That doesn't even include shaedows obligatory 'old gay fucks' pic.

I am taking all my pics and shrinking them down by 80% and 72dpi do they will look fine one one monitor screen. That's going from 5MB to about 200KB, quite a drop. Plus I am sure having 200 pictures of a stripper may be 195 too many, so when I am done I hope to have one CD for anyone who desires pics, named so that you can get the full 5MB version if you are into pain.

After browsing the aformentioned original stripper pics Sunday night/Monday morning I can fully attest to the pain invoked. Her gynocologist hasn't seen her this clearly.
