Just a note to any media that happens to read these forums. Guys, the 'Fear and Hacking in Las Vegas' thing...its old. let it go. seriously. It was witty about 10 years ago when some rocket scientist of a reporter went 'hey, what if rather than Fear and LOATHING in Las Vegas, I called it Fear and HACKING in Las Vegas. Ah, pure journalistic gold'. Since then, about every year, some not-so-witty journalist comes along and thinks they're the first to ever come up with this. Folks, you need to move on.

Funny stuff. HW, thanks for the defense.

Just for the record, I did measure the signal loss on Field Strength Meter, and it was consistent at about a 7dB drop. Aluminized Mylar works just like that "WiFi wallpaper" we've read about. I was going to make a login at /. and tell the nitwit that, but every name I tried was taken, and after a couple for attempts, it just wasn't that important.
