Then you meet her in person and think "Ug!"

Well, that's what I got form the Haxxxor videos. I Talked with the blonde wen she was on the floor. Nice gal. Attractive.

Then saw the video and though "ok, wtf happened. "

I think the moral of this story is... while anyone can easily grab a camera for instant desktop video production, not everyone has the talent, skill, or knowledge to do so.
Just becas eyou can make a video, doesn't mean you should wideband it through distrobution.

The two guys are nice enough. The gals are nice enough when not in PVC selling autographs for $5 like a rock star mode. The video, sucks. I accepted my gift copy reluctantly, and was only able to handle about 5 minutes of it, skipping around.

1. You're a fucking idiot to attempt to sell porn in Vegas where there is an abundance of attractive women, strip clubs, and free porn on the sidewalks, fences, and in the hands of those dirty individuals along every street corner and corridor.

2. You're not going to profit selling porn to a group of computer minded/hacker individuals who while they are more likely to be attracted to such material are also less likely to be willing to pay for material (shitty whore porn) when they could freely and with great ease obtain similar material likely to also be of higher quality thanks to your best friend, the internet (or as some supposedly wasted their time doing, burning and distributing copies of the DVD for the cost of a single DVD-R, it sure beats paying queers in cat ears).

They shouldn't have any bitch. Chris also explained the whole thing face-to-face to Brandon (cat-ears) in the presence of several people, including myself. This was in a chance encounter with Brandon and some of the girls near Pool 1 on Friday night. Brandon stopped us to ask Chris about them not getting the vendor space.

It was obvious from the tone of the conversation that this was not the first or even the second time that it had been discussed. Even so, Chris was straightforward about it, and patiently went over everything, including the problem with the penetration scene.

Regardless, the whole thing with "why" they do it - it's funny. I'd be a lot less offended if the chicks were hot. I don't think these DVD's were every seriously meant to be a learning tool. Let's hope not, anyways. I view it as humor along the same lines as "Hackers" and "Swordfish". However, I am offended by girls that look like they had to pick up their goth gear from Walmart because they couldn't afford Hot Topic. The pimp of the crew kind of scares me. Didn't he wear some freaky contacts to a con one time? I'm always hearing rumors about them.

The scarey thing: I saw him sell two copies while I was talking to him. He was selling them with the covered turned insde out so that it was a whitle box only (he sad it was a reqest from DT/staff).

Moral- it doesn't matter what you are selling, or how bad the quality is... there will ALWAYS be a given statistical % of the population that will buy it.

Regardless of how they did business, one question does come to mind, would the responses here be different if the women were much better good looking? Im not criticizing anyone here but its just something to think about..

I didn't see much of the Haxxxor group at all this year, but I remember the girls at DCX were not only very rude at times, but when they were being nice (that is, when your camera was off) they were dull as hell to talk to. Not one of them could muster a cogent thought. That was enough to cause me to lose interest in them and their DVD.

That would help. Some other things that would help are:

• The concept itself weren't fundamentally flawed
• The girls actually knew what they were talking about -OR-
• The girls actually rehersed reading the script to the point that they don't sound like total dipshits
• The girls, as employees of the adult entertainment business, knew how to use some of the most fundamental tools of the trade properly, such as a dildo
• The production values weren't lower than the Blair Witch Project

Basically, if they managed to produce porn that was sexually arousing instead of vomit inducing, I think fewer people such as myself would have quite such a problem.
