Spyware X-terminator is good at finding a lot of stuff. But since I no longer use IE and only use Firefox, I am surprised to only find two tracking cookies after 4 days of surfing!

Perhaps it's not up the snuff then. It should be picking up more than that, shouldn't it?
I scanned my sisters' computer today, Adaware came up with 700 critical items. She's not very savvy in the ways of which websites to avoid, but that's still insane.Comment

Acutally no, it shouldn't. With the controls that Firefox puts in place to give the user control over self-installing programs, and the default DENY for programs like that, he *shouldn't* have the amount of spyware that a normal IE user would. The cookies are a natural byproduct of damn near every site these days that wants to track repeat viewers.Originally posted by icebreakerPerhaps it's not up the snuff then. Or maybe you should lay off the porn on her computer. Which is kinda creepy if you are looking at porn in her bedroom.Originally posted by icebreakerPerhaps it's not up the snuff then. It should be picking up more than that, shouldn't it?
