    Try Netstat. Or google.
    Did Everquest teach you that?

You can try Armor2net Personal Firewall. It has a "Net State" function which can show the currently active connections and the details of these connections, including Remote Address/Port, Local Application/Port, Protocol and Status. You can download this firewall from http://www.armor2net.com. Hope this helps!

        Activeports and tcpview work well.

netstat -a will show you the active connections/services.

On another note, this wouldn't this be more suited for the Got Questions area?

              PrcView.exe

Can't live without it. It's easy to kill processes and finding nasty spyware that can't be deleted using adaware and spybot. And it's free.

Last time I used, PrcView, it was only the processes running on my computer, not the active conections, which I believe is being asked here. A very similar program that I did use for that was TCPView(.exe)...google should show up this freeware app.

EDIT: Sorry, some one else posted TCPView before me. Most third party firewall software should have some kind of GUI view of connections. Obviously some are better than others.

I know that seing current connections is possible and easy with Netstat. Is there any program or command in the smd prompt that allows you to terminate active connections?

Not that I know of off the top of my head (at least that is included with windows). I know TCPview will let you.

pskill can do that, both local and remote (assuming you have the proper credentials).
