I've only known her since DC 10, haven't spent a *lot* of time with her, but I get the feeling she is a very multifaceted woman...

Howeverm if somebody had real old schook cable (i.e. no box, just a straight line from wall to TV) how easy would it be to descramble that and get all the hot XXX channels? Would it even be possible to get a soldering iron and some radio shack parts and throw one together? If this is so, then old school cable still has a problem.

The cable coming in to the house hasn't changed. Any channels available on that feed can be easily obtained through a traditional descrambler. ***BUT*** (There's always a but, isn't there?) The cable companies are sick of losing money to piracy and they know they've got a good thing with digital cable. So, most companies are moving pay-per-view and movie channels over to digital access only. Our local company moved pay-per-view over to digital-only some time ago and there are talks of HBO, Showtime, and Cinemax being next to go. By doing this, they can mitigate their losses to piracy to a small subset of the less valuable channels.

Sorry, but the last time I checked, this forum wasn't a vehicle by which you can gain illegal access to porn channels with.

Unless buttsex is involved that is.

You're right (question rephrased to exclude illegal ramifications)
