‘if u type lik diz’ you are basically saying ‘I am dumb, please do not pay any attention to me, in fact please ban me as soon as possible since I bring nothing to the table’.
If there is such a thing as a warning, this is it.

Yeah I used Skype for awhile for my AA (America's Army) Team.. It's pretty cool. You can call people and they choose to pick up or hang up. And you have lots of customization options. I don't use it anymore however because there wasn't enough people.
Sorry for digging such an old thread up, but I just found out about this new service called Gizmo. It seems to be the next wave of Skype, with some additional features that Skype doesn't have.

Yup, North Koreans using Skype and practicing their engrish...
I don't know where the hell these calls come from, my bio says I speak english but I've had like three calls from North Korea, and they are very animated and happy to hear me speaking english.
I've given up trying to have a normal conversation with them, next call I get I get from over there I'll start babbling that my name is Chairman Kaga and today's theme ingredient is... DOG
I'm been messing with the SkypeOut, I haven't burned through the 10EUR prepaid yet, I'm glad I didn't spring for 20EUR right off the bat.
I've been experimenting with a few products so I don't have to talk with a headset, the URL escapes me but you can plug a XP box into your answering machine and take calls while you're gone, the only downside again is Soo Lee who is calling from North Korea and wants to practice her engrish with you.
I was just wondering, has anyone used SkypeOut or X-Lite?

I've used SkypeOut to make numerous calls to Jakarta and a couple to Riga. Decent to medium quality with a few dropouts...I suspect this is due to the Indonesian phone system rather than Skype. The Riga calls were fine. Skype's pretty popular among the DC404ers...quite a money saver.
I finally downloaded it last night. For the need that I downloaded it for though, I would have to use SkypeOut, so I went looking around for some other software that might let me make local calls and I downloaded X-Lite. I haven't fully set it up yet, but it seems to do the job.

I have used X-Lite in conjunction with FreeWorld Dialup(FWD). It got the job done. No complaints from my end.
