Well, you at least tried to search from within the forums or else you might have received some unkind responses.

I just tried, and it seems the forum's "normal search" and "advanced search" are limited by default to search only open sections. Previous discussions of spot the fed (of which there are many) are therefore, not shown as hits.

Use the google search with the "site:forum.defcon.org" listed above to find the closed threads where spot the fed was discussed.

    A contest/game.

The only reason I ask is my Searches for "fed", "Spot the fed", "Spot", and "Games Fed" have yielded null for results.
Did you try a google search: 'defcon "spot the fed"'?
When using the forum search does not seem helpful, sometimes google can be.

You can also tell google to limit searches to the forums:
Like this: 'site:forum.defcon.org defcon "spot the fed"'

In other news... I rolled over to post 500.

I see your point... but binary? I'd have to make the text damn near invisible to get my sig point across. ^.^ Ah well back to figuring out a new sig.

On a different random note all together, what exactly is spot the fed? I've read a little about it or I've seen it mentioned somewhere and I have not the slightest clue what it is. The only reason I ask is my Searches for "fed", "Spot the fed", "Spot", and "Games Fed" have yielded null for results. Thanks for anyone who sheds light on this. I am going back to my little world.

While we're on the topic of random things that don't matter; Your sig could use a remake. Not saying mine is any better, just pointing out that isn't html or even close (it's <head> not <header>, etc..), and if you wanna keep the general theme, I'd probably pick another language. C++ seeing as you know that, maybe brainfuck or assembly if you're into that. Binary if you're really bored..

Heh, no, no, I'll leave the witty replies and all said flaming to the admins here. I'd rather just sit back and watch. I am not the most computer savy person so I don't feel like I have the right to flame anyone for not following a few simple rules. I am more an average user who has an interest and love for computers. With this being said, I just try to make due with what I can. Hope to meet some of you at the next (uncancelled) Con. Whenever this mysterious, mystical, impossible event occurs. ^.^

Even though there is a draw to want to pounce on people who break the rules with a really good flame, slam, or witty "boot to the head," resist the urge to jump on people for breaking the rules until after you have been around for while (lurking) *AND ESPECIALLY* if someone else has a post in the thread before you that is designed to "educate" the offender.

Also, don't ask for posts to be moved to fucktard hall. ;-)

    Being bored in Fucktard Hall

Okay, I know it really doesn't matter so I've decided this is the place to say it. I was browsing through fucktard hall for a while, because well I was sick of reading over how insecure windows was. I've read through quite a few posts, and I just have to give props to the quite humorous ways in which many of you dismiss said fucktards before they get moved to that area of the Forum. This is almost irrelevant but I felt need to at least thank someone for temporarily helping me elude boredom. Back to trying to figure out why my C++ code won't compile on this box. Later everyone.
Working...
