If you expect people to donate their time to you, being reactionary, judgemental, and closed to items not on your agenda are not best practices to do it.

Please excuse my sarcasm!
As with any forum i figured the general flow of motion was you ask people for advice on things, talk on topics of the same interest and LEARN

Pickup some other network books and read them along with your cisco materal for a complete education. The problem with the CCNA is that there's a lot of people out there with CCNA's that don't know jack shit, to renew it every 3 years is good, but unless your working with it, or have an amazing memory, its tought to pass after 3 years of not practicing.
Good luck though, you'll learn a lot about networking and fundamentals of OSI layer stuff. I got a lot out of my classes.

I dont really live out in the sticks, we have a college and i contacted them via the phone and let them know exactly what i wanted and what time i had to do it etc. then their basic reply was "im sorry we do not have any sort of course at this college that i feel would suit your needs" Its hard trying to do a course that i can't either do from home or online because i work, its an 11 hour day for me so i have such a little amount of spare time. Im looking as going for a Certified Internet Webmaster so i will be able to create interactive flash content, use advanced scripts of HTML write DHTML and learn how to use javascript and other related things.
The computeach course doesnt seem to be able to go ahead simply because im too young, i have just turned 17 which seems to be a little on the young side for joining the course. I had a nice phone call with a guy who works their then it got to my age part and he said he doesnt think it could happen, when i asked why is that the rule and he replied to me that he really does not know. Just seems to be a "tradition" sort of thing that they dont take on people that young.
Ive got some books to help with dreamweaver mx, photoshop cs and flash mx but even if i learn all this it still doesnt get me a certificate at the end of it to prove i know anymore then i do now.
What would be really helpful to me is if some of you have taken these courses or something like them and could give me the link to the information i need also to let me know what your thoughts of the course were like.

If there isn't a local junior college around to provide some Education. (this would be your best bet, I'd imagine). What are 'your requirements' ?? Why doesn't the one you looked into work?
I'd also just start reading books and try to find an internship/job shadow someplace. If the local college classes work out or not.... Hope you have good reading skills. good luck.

Community colleges have TONS of computer courses. Where are you in the sticks? Usually they have 2 day weekend classes, and AAS (almost an AS) degree programs for on the cheap.

Planning on going to college some day? See if you can take online courses at a local Junior College towards a web certificate-- maybe the classes you take can double-count by being applied to an associates degree, or four year degree.
Can you convince them to pay for your degree in computer science? How about a web design certificate from a business college? Some are online.
Try to leverage a single class into a certificate, and a certificate into a degree. A great deal when they are paying! Take, take TAKE!
