  • what is this?

I recently found a black metallic box a little bit smaller than a cigarette carton with grey stripes on either side, it has a serial port, a coaxial port, and an ethernet? port, where the serial and coaxial ports are it says mfg by motorola inc. Now, i googled the FCC ID: ABZ89FT5668, and found this page.

but still dont know what it is, can someone explain me what it is? i think it's like something to test lines but i'm not sure, thanks
    I think, therefore i exist.

It looks from that page to be a cellphone tester. Since you have the FCC number, did you try the FCC search?

Here is the FCC equipment grant authorization. Not much to go on, however.

Are you sure that serial port isn't just an AUI and what you've found isn't simply an Ethernet transciever for 10b2 or 10bT? If it's a DB15 connector that would be a likely explanation. However the page you linked and the FCC filing do make it sound like some kind of "field transmitter"
