    Ever heard of rainbowtables?

Making the statement "a password like that could never be cracked by conventinal means, not even by me." Is just stupid. Not only is it wrong, but as the respected KeLviN said, it makes you look childish and arrogant. Just suck it up and think before you post next time. (It happens to be best of us)

Impressive. Winzip has come a distance since it first came out.

        http://www.winzip.com/aes_info.htm#extra-data
Looks like they have support for AES and 128-bit, 192-bit, and 256-bit encryption keys.

It is good to see that they are trying. :-)

          Your question was already resolved.

I was under the impression that it isn't just entering a key, but they email you a .key file, then you have to drop it in the correct directory.

As I have never heard of a 'full keybored password' I don't believe I would be able to apply brute force. BTW, does being 'full keybored' require extra software so that I too can have stronger passwords? Where can I find this amazing new technology?

              256^40 = 2.135 + 10^96

              or even just taking [a-z0-9.,/';*()_]
              26 + 10 + 9 = 45

              45^40 = 1.3443 + 10^66

you must have some 1337 quantum computer.

No hash function can represent more different keys then it has bits, were it perfect.

With DES + Salt, you're pretty much limited to 2^56 keys (salt might screw this up interestingly). It doesn't matter that your password has 2^320 possible permutations (40 bytes) if the underlying algorythm must pare it down to 2^56 (or 2^128 with MD5), I only have to brute force the smaller key space and use the first collision with your hash I find as password.

Theres another method sort of similar to 'hiding' the folder. You could create a seperate partition on your hard drive for all of your pr0n/data then download something like, TweakUI to remove that drive from 'My Computer'. Leaving it unknown at all times.

Then you'd of course have to open explorer and enter the drive letter as the location.
Linux is not the answer, its the question; the answer is yes!

[QUOTE=hck-x360][COLOR=DarkGreen]Is there any possible way to password a folder? (I know you can password word documents, but is it possible to password the actual folder there in)

Check out this encryption software from http://www.jetico.com. The software creates a virtual container that is mounted as a resource using the supplied control center. When the drive is not mounted the data is stored in a single encrypted file on the hd.. Then use the attrib command to hide it when not in use as mentioned earlier...

We hate the people who posted in a useless thread like this a month after it had died away. But now that you bring it up... Where exactly can I get this ultra-super-strength fully keybored password?

Yeah, linux is the best.. For instance, I am forbidden from going here at home due to my parents strick internet rools, so I ordered the live version of knoppix, and opened the webpages from there! Anyway, you could use fdisk, or your windows installation disk to make a small (like 6 gig) partition of windows, hide it from start menu unless you, like push F12, and download your 'stuff' there
