    Why bother? You can run many pc apps under vmware or virtual pc. I bet there are others out there.

    Honestly, I've found if it doesn't exsist in some form for *nix chances are I don't need it.

    If you have the source code, you can rebuild it and may need to modify it [read, "will likely need to modify it"] before compilation.
    If you can "decompile it" and then alter any system-specific calls to your new target, you may be able to port it.
    If you have an emulator, then [manual] conversion [to a native binary] is not necessary.
