There have been CDs handed out at DefCon during registration, but they contained information about the con, and files that could just as easily be downloaded from sites on the internet. (I think they had presentation text, artwork, and other DefCon-related stuff.)

There is/was a company that sold video of the conference, and you can find them online with google.
