    Install Failure

    I have a Dell, well what do know I was trying to reinstall and then when it tries to boot back up in the middle of the installation it missing a file that just not on the CD??? I have tried to restart the installation, but get stuck at the same spot. Any help, ideas???

        Sounds like a corrupt or damaged disc. If it has crap on its undersiding, try wiping the disc with something non-abrasive. Otherwise, find another copy of the OS or restore disc.
        if it gets me nowhere, I'll go there proud; and I'm gonna go there free.
