    Robot Warez Signup / Announcement

    We're coming down to the wire here, who's got a bot that's going to be ready?

    ::Announcement::
    IVU has decided to open up their bot for everyone to use at con! Try your hand at shooting down drink cans with a paintball gun modified to shoot ping pong balls (long sentence, but it's still cool!). Pay a small fee at the event, half of which goes to the EFF, winners get prizes! So even if you haven't been able to build your own bot, you can still take part in the festivities.

      Yeah, the IVU gun is really cool. Check out some of the pics from constructing the custom paintball->high pressure hose connector:

      In initial tests, the ping pong ball can dent a can about half way through, and fire about 30'.
