Intellicast.com has pretty good animations and videos.
They even have 'thundercast' and plenty of other info...

    Las vegas 10 day forcast:
    http://intellicast.com/Local/USLocal...=none&pid=none

    Visible Radar loop:
    http://intellicast.com/Local/USLocal...p&prodnav=none

    Plenty more...

I've found this to be useful in predicting what might be coming for 15 minutes to 4 hours. You can select a type (like water vapor or IR) and then select the animated sequence or video and look at your city location to estimate when the rain clouds will pass or may arrive.
Not perfect, but works well enough for 15 minutes to 4 hours.

weather.com hour-by-hour for LV,NV is not always very accurate, but it is another source.

10 second walk towards the St Tropez lobby will score you wireless. Anyone sending me photos / video of the event gets two thumbs up. Anyone doing so Thursday night or Friday morning gets an extra pat on the back.

I will make a section on the site and post all content anywhere between asap and immediately.. as well as try to dig up stuff from last year. I discovered my tbbq cache was all my footage.. i have archives of others pictures but will need to rummage through my 3rd party pics section to weed them out.

Please send to spamassassin@gmail.com, please denote with "ToxicBBQ" in the subject... or email linkage to info@toxicbbq.com. Gracias

Provided we get all of our gear setup, and I remember to preprint a map to get there from the AP, 4-7 from the Wall of Sheep should be able to make it. Should all be meaters, but some may prefer some variety. We'll be happy to contribute/go along/drive for the food run, but someone will probably need to come into Parthenon 2 or 5 to remind us.

Cooking? A wise old boy once taught me that the only proper way to cook a steak is to take a cow, wipe it's nose and it's ass, and run it through a brush fire.

Keep your teeth sharp, steak is finger food too!

Fuck the rain.. I shall be there anyway. If we have issues with fire, we cook with thermite.

If I see a majority of people want something, least that will give me and others something to bring other than meat.

    1 for potato salad?
    You have my vote!

Anyone interested? I'll bring some instead of meat if anyones interested.
I was planning on doing corn on the cob. Chances are we will be grilling some assorted veggies, and maybe some veggie burgers.

Hopefully some one will bring some tater salad and the like.

I assume that it the one that was over half melted correct? yes it was donated as I recall.

ok I figure I can start picking up paper plates, forks and some plastic cups and the like... any other non-perishables I can pick up in advance?

I'll be getting in on thursday morning, Im sure I'll hunt someone down, and if I catch them before they make a trip to the store I'll be pitching in some stuff as well..

That was the case last year though, tons of food appeared, mostly meat though, wasnt much to go with it.. At first there was a lack of plates, utensils, foil, charcoal, lighter fluid, matches.. those were some of the items that sent people back out on an extra run.

Anyone thought of bringing a huge pot of beans? or something..
Chips were pretty much the only thing to go with the meat last year.

(Tried to edit, but button wasn't available)

I will commit to picking up condiments (as long as I'll have a ride to the store).
