Does anyone know about the junkyard fix on the Echostar 2700 to get your channels back? I heard about shorting two pins together for 5 seconds but I don't know which 2 pins on what chip.

For the record, steesu, I put in four simple terms and found 5 pages of relevant hits including screenshots and step-by-step walk-thrus for what you're trying to do. We're not here to assist you in your desire to steal content, or repair a device that's been 'h4x0r3d' to steal content.

If you dont' like the answer you've received, don't get upset, don't even respond.. just leave.

I tried that and found this on the first hit: Arrrrrrrr! heh heh. It is a funny read-- like usenet flaming from a Secretrary to the Director of PR for the given company.

I dont think I entierly understand what you are talking about, but I think I can help. I'm not sure exactly how it works, but apparently jamming it up your ass sideways will get your channels back. Glad I could be of assistance.

I return whatever i wish . Its called FREEDOWM OF RANDOMNESS IN A HECK . CLUSTERED DEFEATED CORn FORUM . Welcome to me

I believe you have to turn it into something akin to this first, though.

Honestly, I didn't even know what he was talking about, but has no trouble finding the info he wanted in a few seconds. So I guess I owe the assclown some thanks, I learned something new.

Sure I could have posted a straight answer, but I can be such a bitch sometimes.

Yeah, mock me, I am not up on tv/sat/cable/whatever tech. If I didn't live with someone who feels that to not have a home theatre is uncivilized I doubt I'd even have a tv now.

You forgot to say "and die in a flaming car wreck with your pants down you lazy spemburbling jizmaster". Or something to that effect.

Heh, very funny! I bet you could raise a lot of money with something like that, especialy if pudding was involved....

I suspect I will start being less of a bitch when I have AC again. Just a little less mind you, I wouldn't want to be too boring.

erm.. um.. I found the info and posted that it was easy to find (directing the comment to him). By no means was my post in reponse to yours (other than the 'darn, you beat me to it').

I didn't think it was. I was just backing up what you had said about it being easy to find.
