What The Hack is a convention that takes place only every few years and this year took place over the same weekend as DefCon.

I have not heard if there was rain at their event or not, but this could be a post about it being wetter than hell in Holland/Nederlands.

With an effective start date ~1989 (or a little bit later depending on what you consider as "counting") What The Hack is older than DefCon, but not annual.

More about the history of it. It was mentioned in one of the threads on Lockpicking (discussions with Devian Ollam) when the topic of people from a LP Group decided to go to WTH (What The Hack) instead of DefCon this year.
