DC9 - I am the Fed Tshirt Available

Well back at DC8 I traded stuff like crazy because it was my first defcon. Now I'm a little wiser and know it don't cost that much. :>

Well, since im not a fed the shirt doesnt really suit me. I traded a mug at DC9 for the shirt from one of the guys running the event. At the time i was working for the Ontario Provincial Police and gave them a particularly cool mug with a nice pewter OPP logo on the mug.

Honestly, that's about the real value of stuff like this - it's a swappable for other nifty TLA goodies. Somewhere around here I've got about eight or so unopened Fed shirts from various Defcons that I'm keeping around for exactly those reasons.

A guy i spoke to at this years defcon had mentioned that he knows of at least one instance where a fed traded the shirt for.... (now im not sure if this part was true) about $400 worth of swag or computer gear or something....

Assuming it is true, Barnum's rule applies :)

Okay, so far we've got:

- The uneaten part of my egg salad sandwich
- Three Cheetos
- Half a diet soda

Can't lose out on this one... I'll raise *you* some sugar packets I found in my rucksack. Not sure where I got them exactly, but they were from somewhere adjacent to this year's con. One of them has a slight tear but I think I can get the sugar back in.

Wouldn't a shirt that claimed the wearer was able to spot a fed, raise the status of the wearer among their peers, while one that claimed the wearer was unable to blend-in, in an undercover-sort-of-way, lower ther value among their peers?

Have you tried ebay? I think they have some sort of auction system just for this kind of thing. Don't like ebay? I think there are others.

I think the offers so far have been serious, which is, perhaps, an indication of how much the shirt is worth.

Of course, there is also the fact that you are getting impatient after less than twelve hours of posting on a low-traffic forum...

Tshirt Details

Its a large
Im 6'5", 180lbs and it fits me just fine.
The front has the DC9 Logo
and the back has all the government logos
and says "I am the fed" at the bottom.
Black, with white lettering on the back, and
the logo on the font is sort of a sparkley silver.
