    Stupid question: what type of authentication is the device set for? If it's expecting type 7 or *local* MD5, this isn't going to work.

    Though it appears English is not your first language (rDNS), it is not an excuse for "spamming."

    Duplicate your posts like this in another thread one more time and you are banned. One topic? One thread. Posting the same thing more than once just makes you look silly.

    Next time, use the "Edit" button. You have ~24 hours after each post to edit them.

    how can i configure ACS server to allow authentication from AP1200 series or cat2940

    how can i enter ACS server properly in to the AP's config?
    how can i configure ACS server for allowing authentication from cisco AP1200 series and/or cisco cat2940 ?

    i am using laptop xp with service pack2. wireless card is new.


    any help is greatly appreciated and thanks

    i configured switch for dot1x port based authentication.

    secure ACS radius server can accept leap, md5-challenge, peap client ' s request.

    on my pc ..authentication---802.1x ..md5-challenge...

    if i connect my pc to fastethernet0/1 then switch is asking username and password.....after entering them...i am getting error message.

    ERROR : authentication failed.

    where i did mistake ?

    any help is greatly appreciated and thanks
