If the charge is erroneuous you will not have a 2nd receipt. Credit card laws are strange. if you are more than 50 miles from home and use the card an entiely different set of rules apply. So many things are in your favor. I don't know why 50 miles is the magic number, but it is.

Well that might explain my credit card. Whenever the bank sees my card being used a good distance from my home, they put a block on the card. If I travel somewhere I've never been before I can usually expect the card to get cut off..

Its happened about 3 times now. Im wondering if so much is in my favor they are doing this to cover thier ass.

Im surprised they outright cut it off. Usually they call to verify unless its a lot of small purchases in a short time span or extrodinarily large purchases. I suppose its a nice cover to have provided you have a 24/7 number to call to remedy, if not then i can see how that would suck.

The times it was cut off, I was traveling by car and made gas purchases spread across 2 states. I just called the number on the back of the card to get it turned back on. In fact I think it was a VISA Debit that they canceled twice. Credit card only once.

Did everyone get thier Credit Card crap at Alexis sorted out yet?

I reported mine as an unauthorized charge to the CC company on the 10th (12 days ago) and haven't heard back from the AP. There is a credit on my CC though, so as far as I'm concerned it's all settled. (Fuck the AP though)

Heh heh, filing a class action lawsuit for fraudulent charges would be fun.
--- The fuck? Have you ever BEEN to Defcon?
