    I pretend to be a reporter because I'm stupid

    I want to have Defcon 14 take place in New York City. Transportation doesn't cost much and if anyone needs a ride or a place to stay he/she can e-mail me.

    I'm slightly new to computers. My first experience was pagemaker on a Mac as senior editor of my high school newspaper. That was my first newspaper experience. That year I mean. Now I've moved up; but I prefer not to say where.

    I have a car and know where to get food (like at the homeless shelters -- it's good food, don't worry).

    Rockefeller Center may be a good place to try the convention since it is a central location.

    Hello. I am not really the person I claim to be. I am really dewan@hal-pc.org 129.7.250.92. The host name is: 129-7-250-92.dhcp.uh.edu. That is nowhere near New York.

    This user pretended to be a person who works for a New York Newspaper, then posted stupid crap to (try to?) bring flames/discredit the real person.

      Chris Anderson Sucks

      I'd like to see DJ Chris Anderson from Houston, TX (formerly of Chemistry Records) play at Defcon 14. He's a god.

      I especially loved the time I got Mackenzie to eat lime sherbert out of the 1/2 gallon container with me in physics class. Nobody else would eat some & I know she'll do anything anybody asks because she's that fucking out. Thank god I was the Senior newspaper editor (which I named myself -- "Spotlight"). I know she did it because she will eat anything because she doesn't get ice cream at home nor does she ever get to drink cokes. I know because my parents let me have cokes only on the weekends and I told everybody.

      If only I were a Jew. Then I would really be in. But I'm only India/White. I detest India-ans. I don't like them to touch me.

        DefCon has been in Las Vegas since it began.
        If the mountain won't come to you, why not go to the mountain?

        There are DefCon Groups, but these regional group meetings are not the same things as DefCon conventions.

        If you do not want to travel, there is a political-event called HOPE that takes place in New York every few years. But then again, HOPE is not DefCon either.

          Yea right. If you are a reporter you must be so new to Defcon you do not understand that it will NEVER be in NYC. You are now another reason why it won't ever be there.

            Bruce Sterling for Governor

            DJ Chris Anderson of Houston, TX says Bruce Sterling (bruces@well.com) from Wired Magazine can't write. He sucks. At least Chris knows how to spin techno and drive people crazy. At least Chris wouldn't give a girl a free record (not even one of his own making) to a girl who bought 2 Technic 1200 record players from his shop Chemistry Records when the going was rough to the tune of $500 each. Thank God he got all 8 tables at a discount. At least they're all black so everybody knows they came from him.

            Good thing he went to Rice University where he majored in Chemistry & Physics & learned to make illegal drugs there like LSD. It was good stuff.

            Good thing he invited Bruce Sterling to his rave parties in Austin in the 1990's. Too bad he can't write. I wonder if he can read. I hated that book "The Zenith Angle."
            At least Ellen Datlow thought it was great and recommended it sky high. I wish I could be like Ellen & screw the brains out of Sterling in his sleep.
