Lemme get this straight... you can max out your "beer points" after hitting a special number of beers for your team?
So, after "team whatever" drinks a total of 20 beers, they no longer will gain points if they drink more?

The total will be most likely be less than that, but yes. This is to level the playing field a little while still ensuring entertaining drunkenness.

My REAL reason for visiting this thread is to ask about the apparent increase in team size from 3 to"3-4". I'm thinking this is just so that the 3-player teams have an alternate player, but I want to confirm this. Thx.

PS: I had the understanding that HJ was not ever (officially) taped. Just... because.

Yes, we're looking more at around 10 beers per team per round.

Are the teams expanding to 4 members this year?

Teams can enter a 4th person--however, teams do not have to be 4 people. 3-4 is suggested.

And the number of beers a team is allotted has nothing to do with the number of people on the team. If someone wants to fly solo, the 10 beers are all them.
