I went to the Micro$oft XP Launch today here in DC. After getting a chance to play around with it for a while all I have to say is that information security folks should thank Micro$oft for ensuring their gainful employment for the next few years.

I don't know which part was my favorite...the return of sysconfig (with all users having rights to, and any user having rights to enable/disable services including telnet) or the remote desktop management. It warmed my heart to see the "features" that (Dollar) Bill Gates has provided for users with XP.perl -e 'print pack(c5, (41*2), sqrt(7056), (unpack(c,H)-2), oct(115), 10)'
