Please avoid using shortened URL, as they can hide the true nature of the link, and many users will choose to just ignore your link and not visit it, thinking it is not worth their time to un-shorten the link to find the URL it is really directing users to visit.

The forums already "shorten" links in on-screen text by replacing inner link information with "..." but still allow for "hovering" over the link to let browsers show the full URL.

According to bit.ly, your shortened link expands to :

https://picasaweb.google.com/1125415...eat=directlink

Please avoid link shortening on these forums in the future.

as you may have read, https://pics.defcon.org/ has gone public. If your dcg is listed in this space as a subforum, we can add a category just for your DCG to pics.defcon.org *if* you will use it.

(I'm not going to pre-populate pics with all dcg like I did here.)
