This is making me nervous about further participation with TOR. Are there known cases of TOR server seizures in US?

If there are, they are obvisously not public.

There are currently about 500 servers worldwide that are active. Anyone with a client can get a list of IP's on the network. This is just a give due to nature of network and how it works. It would be interesting to have a client up just to monitor servers that come up and down on network. If you see an IP disappear, try and contact adim (arin, google, etc) and insure it was just for maintance/cost/allocation issues and not due to law enforcement.
