    Thank you for you answer, I look forward to the contest this year? I tried to do my own research on it like the rules stipulate, but couldn't find any information.

        What might be interesting is if you could somehow split up big monolithic teams and make them cooperate with each other instead of staying insular and competitive. Not sure how to do that, but it's kind of a personal regret of mine that I spent half of my first con with the same batch of people I always hang with.

          heh, sounds like a defcon mini game...
          "ctf grab bag", all contestants are thrown into groups that are selected at random and then told to find a hack, first one to hack the box in question wins!"

          iono about actf but that could be a cool contest on its own ;)
