The internet video site YouTube says it plans to start sharing its revenue with users. Chad Hurley, co-founder of the site, said YouTube is working on developing ways for its users, who upload videos on to the site, to be paid for the content they have created.

Hmmm.......... It's too late for a witty comment, i'll leave that to you guys.

Unfortunately this will likely only accelerate the current trend of cheating or doing whatever is possible to get as many views for stupid videos.

Would this be the same Chad Hurley that is 6'7, 290lbs, clean cut blonde, has a bad habit of top posting in HTML, but is really nice to people that can't figure out how to play his videos with their Interweb gadgetmahthingys and otherwise doesn't smoke, drink, gamble, fart, or curse? Never met him, but I think I know his evil brother.
