Found this on the Internet Storm Center Diary this weekend. Thought is was a great idea. Like, one of those idea's that once you hear them your like "Yes of course, that's sooo obvious!".

Simply put, it's a snort IDS/IPS embedded into Firefox. Compleate with snort rule syntax.
