If you could deal with the creepyness factor, you could book across the street at Circus-Circus for $61.00 a night Friday and Saturday night.

ummmm. I booked two night at Circus Circus (Weds and Thurs) for a total of 67.00.

What search engines are you people using?

Just wanted to share the info since the Riv's booked for Saturday and I can't be the only person looking for alternatives.

You're welcome. Your mistake was just missing the date. We get a lot of forum newcomers just before DC, so unless it's an excessive violation of the rules, I try to be a bit tolerant.

Having been stung already in the forums by this, a safe bet would be to check the Circus Circus Promotions page at: http://www.circuscircus.com/promotions/

As of 7-31-08, if you stay three nights, you can get $50 in free gas!

Yeah, but as you type, it is relevant and current information, so it is totally within the rules.
    :-)

It is a sticky because it is a cyclic topic, and if we didn't ever want any new replies to this sticky we would have closed it, so I am pretty sure you are safe.

The top post's URL should also be helpful in finding hotels near the Riv. When we move to another hotel, I'll have to edit those URL again.
