Re: Looks like Blacklisted411 has disappeared again
Risky business publishing a hacking periodical. I imagine it's like publishing a periodical like "Underwater Basket Weaving Made Easy". Supply and demand and corporate sponsors all have to click. Hacking as a field of interest is tight nitch where there will always be limited subscribers to any regular publication. I'd imagine 411 staffing and time allocations are troublesome too. Besides getting any company to advertise/sponsor in a hack journal must be daunting.Leave a comment:

Well.. enlighten us... I will gladly cut him some slack if I have a good understanding of whats happening to cause the situation, but like anyone else, when someone you gave money to for a service/product and does not deliver, and drops off the earth the worst is assumed.Leave a comment:

Um, I don't know how many of you know his daytime job. If you did you'd cut him some slack. I'm sure he's no scammer, and he is indeed very very busy, to put it mildly.Leave a comment:

Re: Looks like Blacklisted411 has disappeared again
Yeah... I am a little POed about this myself... I paid for a 3 year subscription and got a single magazine, and little metal name card....
I tried sending an email to Alex, but it got returned to me.
I know its only $50... its not the cash I am mad about... its the whole point behind him taking off and not even offering an explanation to his subscribers, or even a "I will be back soon..." he just packed up and left.
So that means you are a card carrying member of the Group Formally Known as Blacklisted 411

Re: Looks like Blacklisted411 has disappeared again
This was actually brought up back in AprilIt appears the periodical Blacklisted411 (http://www.blacklisted411.com/) has disappeared again. After a little research as to why I had not received my copy lately; it appears they have stopped publishing. Their web site is the default Network solutions page; and I found a forum posting regarding the situation: http://www.binrev.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=29590 which also mentions that the Blacklisted folks have done this before.
Is it that hard to be up front & tell your subscribers that you are going to stop publishing? Perhaps, even a refund on subscriptions?
