Please, make it stop. Please. Or tell me this is a joke. It's a bad joke, but please tell me it's a joke.

Why do you need it? Just do this

      Start ---run----type REGEDIT

      locate the subkey : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\Winsock

RIGHT CLICK IT AND SELECT DELETE

      locate the key:

      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\Winsock2

      RIGHT CLICK AND DELETE

Reboot the machine and it will use PNP to detect and reinstall the changes/me not held responsible for the actions of others, or advice given

OK Ill do it, Ill ask, is this a valid question or a sick joke? The only reason I ask is because we have users with especially nasty adware / infections, and corrupted stacks.
Is it by chance a fix you are looking for?

What did you come up with from your google searching?

Wait... What Game(s) are you playing that you are having a hard time with ?

You're not trying to install a "hacking" program are you?

                  Like maybe Hothack?

I wondered why he asked, because for some strange reason we have ALOT of machines with screwed socks. I took a look at the new virii threats and found nothing, but it seems a huge co-winky-dink that I would have several machines here all get relatively the same problem in the last week. The fix is to tweak the reg and reinstall IP onto of its self.
