Why do you need it? Just do this
Start ---run----type REGEDIT
locate the subkey : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\Winsock
RIGHT CLICK IT AND SELECT DELETE
locate the key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\Winsock2
RIGHT CLICK AND DELETE
Reboot the machine and it will use PNP to detect and reinstall the changes/me not held responsible for the actions of others, or advice givenLast edited by pezz; June 24, 2004, 20:06.Comment

im not trying to install a hacking program.. but i have b4 and that popped up so i deleted it... recently it just popped up once in a while.. i was playing a game and it popped up..
the game was starcraft.Comment

I wondered why he asked, because for some strange reason we have ALOT of machines with screwed socks. I took a look at the new virii threats and found nothing, but it seems a huge co-winky-dink that I would have several machines here all get relatively the same problem in the last week. The fix is to tweak the reg and reinstall IP onto of its self.Comment
